Coach Operations Lead
Own the supply side: which coaches we have per game, that they show up, and that schools and students get the right one.
Why this role exists
A school pays for a season of coaching and a coach does not show up. Today the founder finds out after the fact. We need one person whose job is that this never happens, and who keeps a bench deep enough in every game we sell.
What done looks like in 90 days
- Every game we sell to schools has a named bench of at least three vetted coaches.
- Every scheduled session is confirmed by the coach 24 hours out, or a replacement is booked.
- Coordinators at every licensed school know your name and reply to you.
What you'll do
- Recruit and vet coaches where the bench is thin, before a school asks.
- Assign coaches to school rosters, chase confirmations, and resolve no-shows the same day.
- Run the Elite Coach program: one flagship coach per game, their classes, clips and payouts.
- Review coach ratings and session outcomes weekly and act on the bottom of the list.
Who you'll work with
You report to Derek and work daily with the Head of Sales, who hands you every new school, and with the coaches themselves in Discord.
What we look for
- You have run the supply side of a marketplace, a coaching staff, or an esports organisation's player operations.
- You live in Discord and spreadsheets and prefer a number to a feeling.
- You are calm on the phone with a school when a coach has not shown up.
- You have coached or competed at a high level in an FPS or MOBA.
- You have managed contractors and their payouts.

FPS Lounge is where competitive gamers train. Players book vetted coaches, join live classes, and study match reviews. Colleges and high schools license the platform for their esports programs. We are a small, founder-led team, remote, and we build with AI agents doing a lot of the typing.
