Why this role exists

Competitive gaming is global and our platform already works in any time zone. What we do not have is a person who knows a region's schools, leagues and payment habits and speaks the language. You are that person for one region.

What done looks like in 90 days

  1. A map of the region's collegiate and league landscape with the ten programs to call first.
  2. First five discovery calls run in the local language.
  3. A short list of coaches in your languages ready to vet.

What you'll do

  • Own the pipeline for your region end to end.
  • Localize the offer with the founder: pricing, payment method, terms.
  • Recruit the first coaches in your languages with coach operations.
  • Report weekly in one page.

Who you'll work with

You work with the Head of Collegiate Partnerships and the founder, and with coach operations on supply.

What we look for

Must have
  • Fluent English plus the main language of the region you cover: Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Japanese or Korean.
  • You have sold or built partnerships in your region and can show the accounts.
  • You know the esports scene there: leagues, schools, the people who decide.
Nice to have
  • You have run or coached a team in the region.

Part of every job here

  • Recruit coaches. Everyone who meets a great coach brings them in.
  • Talk to customers. Players, coaches and coordinators are one message away, and we read what they say.
  • Write it down. A decision that is not in a doc did not happen.
  • Play, or watch. You do not have to be good, you have to care how people get good.

How we judge fit

  • Evidence over credentials. Show us the number you moved, the thing you shipped or the account you kept. We do not ask for a degree.
  • Owners, not renters. You take the whole problem, including the boring part.
  • Direct and kind. Say the hard thing early, in writing, without the drama.
  • Small team, many hats. You will do work outside your title and like it.
